I am at work and I am tired and I am sick of people complaining me to fix pile of shit that they been sitting on it for like 2 yrs, they have wrong architecture, they dont have any HA servers, the clusterd servers are in wrong subnet and go through a router… and I am pissed… that are asking me to fix it…
maybe they are like u… should have a fail over plan for your internet/phone/power/food etc, should use 2 different service providers or somthing anyways i will just fuck off and goto sleep

maybe my service provider has a backend like your company. stop blaming me for the fact that my service provider does not have a backup for international bandwidth now that they suffered issues to due the earthquake in taiwan.

coz if ur work depends on internet with 99.9% uptime, than you should opt for a business plans with 2 service providers 1 unltd (mainstay), other a per mb based (backup)

what am i asking 24×7 flawless connectivity?
no sir no.
i am instead getting a connection that is giving me dialup speeds after 15 days of the above said earthquake.
and i do have 2 UPS backups at home. they could not last the power cut i suffered last night. it went on till the morning. lasted more than 8 hours i guess. and that is in addition to multitudes of 2 hour cuts we get whole day long.
and we in gurgaon are paying the highest for each power unit we consume.
