Pathetic Airtel Broadband
I agree that there are cables broken somewhere under the sea in the South East Asia. But damn, don’t give me dialup speeds when I am paying for ‘broadband’ connectivity.

I had never thought that I would say this. Nevertheless, Airtel is actually reminding me days spent using the oh-so-awesome
Someone on the India Broadband Forum had this interesting quote wrt Airtel Broadband... "2GB ought to be enough for anybody." —
Here are two screenshots of the kind of net connectivity I have at this very moment from Airtel Broadband. Makes
Looks like that for sure. At least according to most Airtel users on the India Broadband Forum. So, it practically
Accepted that BSNL’s 512 kbps would be better at this. But for the first time in my life, I managed

Airtel is pathetic? Tata Indicomm is pathetic? And don’t tell me BSNL is good. What exactly is it that you want pal?

i want what i am paying for. the company promises me minimum of half of 256kbps package which they show on their brochures. when they fail to deliver even that, i complain.
trai has made it mandatory for companies to deliver AT LEAST 80% of what they advertise. airtel is certainly not meeting that criteria.
give me what YOU YOURSELF are promising to give me. they set the rules. i just want them to follow their own set rules.

So, tell me this. Which broadband provider gives you what they promise?
My Airtel speeds are pretty good, which I prefer to getting disconnected every 10 minutes and waiting for weeks for a technician to arrive.
When everything else is so awful, why cant you just be happy with something at actually works?

i moved from panchkula to gurgaon just to get airtel connectivity. i was on sify. i MOVED out of my home to get decent connectivity. i chose to not accept the ‘disconnected every 10 minutes and waiting for weeks for a technician to arrive’ problems.
i just want to be treated as a respected customer. i want answers. not speculations.

Hmm….. I’ve never faced any problems with my 256kbps unlimited airtel broadband. I use torrent quite often, I put it on before going to sleep and when I wake up it’s usually downloaded abt 700MB.
Have u asked other subscribers in your area if they face the same problem. If you can find out if the fault is specific to your connection, that might help to resolve your situation more easily.
