My New Year Bliss
The starting to this New Year has not been very exciting for me. Here is how it went.
New Year Eve…
The power department has been unusually cruel to us Gurgaon people this year. Too many power cuts and too much of power fluctuation.
Apparently, my electricity board could not handle it and some kind of a blast took place in that cabinet. It was practically on fire and I was staring at it thinking what number to dial to get access to the Fire Brigade.
Luckily there was not much damage except for the burnt up meter and cables. And I was left with no power. I still do not have power in a major portion of the house because today was a holiday for the power department and no one would come to my place to get it back in working condition.

So, my cook was on a holiday yesterday. We end up having this for dinner.
Today was painful as well. Had to go to Delhi and ended up spending like 2 hours in a traffic jam. It took me 30 minutes to get out of Palika Parking. Another 30 minutes to get out of the Connaught Place. This was not much fun.
Looks like not everyone who wished me on New Year had neat intentions. And, very few people did wish me on this New Year.
