Insanity Rediscovered

2 days back while I was on my way to Delhi, I spotted a regular Maruti Swift car with the badge showing Swift VDI.

I was pretty amazed. I chased the car and noticed that the front end of the car had DDIS written there.

It is clear; Maruti is testing their Diesel Swift car on the road. However, it’s surprising that they are driving around cars with proper badges while they could have just driven around the diesel variants without giving anyone else a hint about it.

I am not sure how much it is going to cost. Nevertheless, if I could afford it, I might just swap my petrol version for this diesel unit. Internet sources claim that the diesel variant of Swift gives around 25 kmpl! That sounds almost delicious.
