Maruti Estilo to be new Maruti Zen?
Market sources claim that the new Zen would be called Maruti Estilo. As if Swift was not a tough enough name for us Indians. Maruti is going nuts. What’s wrong with the name Zen? Verna sucks when compared to Accent. Laura sucks when compared to Octavia. Maybe, it’s me.

Ah but I catch ppl pronouncing Accent as Ascent all the time. I tend to think Verna’s an improvement. At least it sounds close to a hindi word. and why haven’t Hyundai done an ad campaign that goes “Ye car khareed lo verna…(gabbar aa jayega??)”. Surely that’d be more fun than the boy band poo advert they did for the Getz.

well i am talking abt a majority of people in india. i would like to see it coming from the mouth of a cab driver carrying people around to offices in gurgaon for instance.

I have seen Europeans calling Arnold - “Aah-nuld”…..Shopping -”Shah-ping” *yada* *yada* …get my drift, its not about indians at all..Its a Noun and can/should be pronounced anyway pleasing.

Irrespective of Model’s Name, as Estilo (for ZEN) we could LOOK at Features & constant endevour from Maruti to Improvise their most successful model.
It is worth also mention here that Zen has High demand in REsale Market inspite of lot of new entrants, including Swift & ALto revised. which I feel we are forgetting !
