Barista messes it for me

A lot of people who read my Blog would know that I have a certain kind of dislike for Karan Johar and his movies and his show. However, what not many know is my liking for Barista’s Café Mocha.

Barista messes it up for me. I go to a Barista Café in Metropolitan Mall in Gurgaon and what they have done is stuck this stupid ‘Koffee with Karan’ sticker on all the tables. In addition, all the trays came with the promos from the show. The only thing left was coffee mugs with shots of Karan Johar inside them.

As a result drinking from a mug of koffee… eh… coffee is no longer fun in Barista. How sad…

I thought you were Karan Johar's Fan, when you wrote about "Koffee with Karan" LOL

Anyway, Barista management will surely like your suggestion. Try it ;)

the advertisements can be ignored. How much to do you look @ your tray anyway? I hardly even notice when I go to a coffee shop or even a fast food place because I am usually too busy eating/drinking or conversing with whomever I am with.

there were banners hanging, table tops, and showpieces lying all around the cafe. trust me, it could not have been ignored. barista is one of the collaborators in the show. koffee with karan needs koffee supplies. and no other cafe makes it better than barista. :)

True to that, nobody makes it better than Barista in India. Maybe it is possible that it was not avoidable. if there were more ppl like you that were more annoyed than pleased with their advertisements, then surely their idea of publicity @ Barista won't be a success.

I hope my regular barista is not spoiled, I like to play a game of chess with a friendly foe, sipping my hot espresso italiano, on a cozy winter afternoon, with no karan johar around.

Alright I went for a check today. Only two small posters on a far away wall I could easily ignore by turning my back to. The chess was very involving and the coffee was very bitter. I even played some guitar. It never bothers me that I don't know how to play a guitar.
