go for tata sky, if possible tata sky plus.. its fab... pause, rewind, record functions are v useful.. avoid dish tv if possible.. their customer care is slow...they penalise customers for downgrading to lower value pack..overall experience is better in tata sky than dish tv

TATASKY works throughout Saudi Arabia. Get a TATASKY receiver from India and buy a 2.5m dish, KU band LNB from ur city in ksa. Focus the dish to INSAT-4a at 83degree east. Do some adjustments and you will definitely get 80% above signals through the receiver. Enjoy...

Dish is pathetic and so is SRK. I used to be a big fan of SRK but I feel annoyed whenever I see or hear him. The reason for this is 'cause of the number of ads he does. Not that I am againt it, but he should atleast make an effort to see if the company is reputed and honest in whatever they do. He just takes lot of money from these companies and fools people. Lot of SRK's fans will just buy what he endorses. WHAT A PITY!

Not just SRK, all the popular personalities should take some effort to see what they are endorsing is honest or not in what they are doing.

You dint mentioned that you have taken STB from India and then got the connection here. You should have been clear about it earlier. From india now its more cheaper as STB is free. I had said it costs 1200 if you buy all here. I am sorry if i have been rude.

Before quoting anything please be clear that from where you got the STB and connection. If you buy STB from india its 450 Now for Dishtv here.

I say the installation cost is 550Dirhams, becos i own a connection that cost me 550dirhams(approx). from INDIA i took the STB after activation with 8months free subscription. The STB with antenna costs me 290 Dirhams, when i took to dubai, i can't use the same dish, so i found a technician who said i need a bigger dish. another dish 4feet approx with technician labor, he asked me 350dirhams, after some bargaining i gave a good ransom. now the total cost of ownership stood at some where 550 to 575 Dirhams, its 6months old now i forgot the exact figure.

I don't have to give you proof for the same, I mentioned it here as a token of information. im not a person leaving ads & email here to make money. Its up to you to take it or not.
