50 KMpH: Legal driving speed on Indian roads



Ok. I knew this since a long time. But it sucked big time that I got challaned two times in the last month for over speeding. And these two times my speed were 63KMpH and 65KMpH.

I have tried driving my Swift at speeds of around 50KMpH. But in the fifth gear, it’s a total impossible scenario on an empty road. I don’t know how the people driving faster cars on the roads manage when the routine checking is going on in Delhi. And my car has just around 85 BHPs!

    Just 50Kmph????
    I drive my santro at 100kmph normal and at 140 kmph on empty roads.
    I wish I never encounter a cop on highway.
