HSBC Tele Callers

Same old story. The gal on the other side calls me by a wrong name. And before she could go any further, told her why I do not want a bank account with HSBC.

1. They have one proper outlet in the whole of Gurgaon which is located in one of the buildings on the Mall Road.
2. That office complex does not have any parking facility for the visitors.
3. I really do not know of any ATM of their bank in my locality.
4. I really do not want to know what kind of minimum balance I would require to keep to maintain my account with HSBC.
5. I really am tired of getting phone calls from telesales people.

  1. Sumed Says:

I used to face a lot of problems with the Tele callers. I have started telling them that I already have a account in their bank or a credit card from their bank or a personal loan….. !

Most of these telecallers are not bank employees but contractors. They get a database and they start calling… and will keep calling you till the time their database says you do not have their credit card / bank account / car loan etc.

When she calls next time, just tell her you already have a bank account in their bank. That’s it. They will mark you in their database and you will not get any calls! It has worked for me.

    Good Luck!
