HostDime Hosting Problems

I have a site hosted on them since a couple of months now. Since yesterday, I have seen downtime of 12 hours and currently I am being forwarded to a dead end suspended page. Customer support has been kind of disappointing. What to do?

I never can understand server guys. They never would listen to their customers when they are facing server issues. HostDime finally revealed that they are suspending my account because it was consuming too many resources. Fine.

But, did they even discuss it with me earlier? Did they respond to my queries, which talked about possible misuse of server for email spam? Nope.

After almost 16 hours of downtime, I am told I would either have to move on to some other service provider or get a dedicated server. The latter being promoted heavily.

I have had a couple of trouble free months at HostDime. It just scares me that in just one day, they find out that I am no longer worthy of their services. What if my website was Dugg or Slashdotted?

Oh wait. I was slashdotted some weeks back and it worked well. And on the same server! Surprise, Surprise!

Hello,

I apologize your site was suspended, as you can imagine, if a site on the server is using to many resources and effecting others on the server we must act fast.

Imagine your site was down or slow because of another user on the server? I would like to think you would want us to isolate the issue as fast as possible to not effect your service.

I will be happy to talk solutions with you, it is a mere contact that we do care about you and are willing to help you even if it means at a loss to us.

It's 5 days and a company like HostDime couldn't solve a problem, this should have been a joke but it's real!

Hostdime is a terrible hosting company. So much so that I purchased the domain name, Hostdimesucks.com and plan on advertising it to make sure that the word gets out about this hosting company.

Anyone having trouble with hostdime should go file a consumer complaint at ripoffreport.com or pissedconsumer.com and just maybe, you'll stop the next guy from getting ripped off from Hostdime.com !

My problem with hostdime wasn't on the end of a user as it was with a hate site which was spreading lies about people.

I contacted hostdime as required to do in their policy and reported this to them.

They took action alright, They had the website put up twice the number of lies.

Hostdime made it clear that despite their written policy they also have a second policy which they don't provide or tell anyone.

It is this: They support hate sites. They support sites that post copyrighted material.

Based on other users, I have read horror stories how peoples sites and domains are blacklisted after using Hostdime.

To make a long story short - Stay far away from Hostdime! - If you have a problem with hostdime, file a complaint with one of the many consumer sites which need to know about Hostdime!
