Airtel Broadband going down the drain?

I moved from Chandigarh to Gurgaon for one reason only. To get decent broadband connectivity. And Airtel had been doing rather good on that front.

However, the last week has been terrible. They have been failing to give me the promised speed since months now. But, it worked fine for me.

It looks like they no longer want to be on my good books. Speeds are falling. I am noticing more and more downtime. And today has been awful. Downtime has touched the levels Sify did during the days I was in Chandigarh and now, the pings are matching the pings of Tata Indicom.

Maybe, they should look at better companies to match their own services. Sify and Tata Indicom are no good examples.

My suggestion is to get the line checked. Dropped pings might indicate a cable problem..

.some one mentioned another ping tool called smokeping, give it a try should be interesting to see the pics

the problems are never to do with line condition. its always server side coz the problem fixes itself within minutes if not in hours.

and it’s hard to prove coz by the time airtel guys land up at home, the problem is already fixed by itself.

I swithed over to Airtel broadband from BSNL a few months back and now I am regretting every bit of it. That to for a business plan.

Day by day it is slowing down and now it is as slow as dialup.

Since there are no proper consumer laws, these people take public for a ride.

God only has to save us
