I have been living in and around Delhi for most of my life but I never actually visited the Qutb

More than the Qutab I am liking the clouds in the background. I am sure you didnt notice them while clicking, but they have come out real nice as against the old monument.
BTW you clicked against the sunlight, hence the dark qutab minar.

oh yea, clouds were awesome that day. and i tried doing some photoshopping but did not get a good result. so kept the photo dark as it came out of the camera. would put in more photos on this post.
thanks.

I personally prefer and feel that pictures shouldnt be manipulated with. what comes naturally cant be competed against the edited work. Will look forward for more pictures of clouds if you took any.

I hope you are not uploading pictures in their usual big size which comes with the fine pixel quality. Otherwise it would take ages…

U didnt get me. What I meant was that when you upload pictures you can reduce their size before uploading them on flickr. I didnt mean storing them n hardisk or whatever.
August 6th, 2006 at 04:28 pm
and you did not get me.
i use flickr to keep the photos at their best resolution.
it does auto-resizing for me. like the photo above. i used a 500 px wide image which was made available to me by flickr. i did not resize it myself. and i still have access to the largest size.

u again didnt get me !!
By resizing I do not mean the picture size in pixels. Maybe i used the wrong word. I was talking abt the file size. When you usually click pictures from digital cameras in best resolutions the file size is usually 2-3 mb per picture. SO despite the fact that you reduce teh file size, you DO NOT in any way loose the largest size.
I hope I made it clear this time…as I do not wish to start commenting again

JPEG is a lossy format. I had rather not spoil the photos by optimising it to save a couple of megs on my uploading.

Kuch spoil nahi hota hai… ufffffffffffff
Let it be. Enjoy uploading GBs of pics
