Something is wrong
We were taught in school that Governors were President’s man, totally independent from the routine politics. And we were taught that President was the head of the country. But something is really going wrong with us. When you find someone like Madan Lal Khurana appointed as the Governor of Rajasthan (now resigned), you know something is wrong. And last week when another prominent politician who was actually in race to become the chief minister of Maharashtra was instead made the governor of another state… I was confused. Since when does the post of governor become a political appointment? I am yet to see President Kalam from commenting anything about these appointments. And I am not even talking about the BJP appointed Governors who are resigning nowadays! It seems like Governorship has been made a holiday from active politics for politicians who are no longer useful for actual party positions.
And, then I had the misfortune of watching Dhoom today on television. They made those funky bikes drive so slow that I had to take a dive into a pillow to hide my shame. Running away from Police Gypsys took that much time?
What were they powered with? Reliance Petrol? Watching Valentino Rossi blasting Honda drivers on a Yamaha later on made my day.
And then it was all spoilt when the movie seemed like a mixture of Fast and the Furious and The Ocean’s Eleven. Okey I am late on my criticism, but it sucked. And even Esha Deol in his semi-bikini seaside sessions does not save it for me. Amateurish effort.
Later in the day I caught 10 minutes of another recent release called I believe Aan - Men At Work. Featured biggies like Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Shatrughan Sinha and the likes. Looked like an ok watch until Akshay met Lara Dutta and starts singing a stupid song. That was when I turned to Halloween Special on Star World. Some awesome television you missed today if you missed the Halloween Special! Another interesting show on television gotta be Wah Wah! on SAB TV.
By the way, the next guest on Jai Jawaan on NDTV 24×7 is going to be Johnny Lever! Great choice…

I was also surprized to see Mr Shinde’s appointment as Governor
I also like to watch Jai Jawaan, it’s always interesting!
This episode seems will be aired somewhere around Diwali.
WAH! WAH! is also a good choice
The one with Advertisement theme was the best this week.
