Bad experience with Hindustan Petroleum
I saw the news. Saw the painful news related to the fuel price hike. Decided that I will check out if the petrol pumps in Gurgaon would be decent enough to fuel my car at the current rates, as the new rates are applicable after midnight.
Went to the nearest petrol pump (Suraj Auto on Delhi-Jaipur Road, Sector 15 Part II, Gurgaon). The staff there simply refused to let us enter their premises!
Felt pretty bad. Went to a Bharat Petroleum station and they were kind enough to do the needful. Bought around half a tank full of petrol at current market prices. Did not save much, but that was not the point.
Fired a mail to the HP guys. Won’t make much of a difference but they have certainly lost one customer.
