Damn You ICICI Bank
I am a user of their banking services since 5 years. I have been using their FD based credit card for like 1.5 years. I am using their DMAT services. I have a solid bank account and a great credit history and they have refused to issue me a new Credit Card without giving any specific reason.
Maybe they don’t like the fact that I am not paying any fines or interests because of late payments on my credit card. Or maybe they don’t like the fact that I am in the web industry which according to the guys at ICICI is one of the most unreliable industry to be in.
Is it like trying to become a politician? You have to have a certain number of criminal cases against you before you can even think about getting elected in an election? It’s shameful really to get rejected for no good reason.
I had say, if there was one decent banking company in India, I had move to them today.

I have an issue with ICICI Bank. Can anyone help me out? My father wanted to send me some money. So i called up ICICI Customer service - they told me that if my father puts the amount into an ATM in Kerala, I wil get the amount in my account within 3 working days. When i did not get it in 3 days, i called up n they told me it will take 5 days and same after 5 days they told me 7 days.
So my father went to the ICICI Branch near his place and the Branch Manager told him that it will take 21 days and advised him to cancel the cheque. The Customer care manager called from Mumbai to apologise for the CC people. After 21 days ICICI charges me Rs.1500 rs for dishonor of the cheque. So i pay for ICICI’s mistakes.
Anybody knows how to approach this legally?
