So, they are making a movie on this novel by Chetan Bhagat. Fine by me. But, the rumors are that the two central characters in this movie are going to be played by Abhishek Bachchan and Upen Patel.
For god sake… for a movie like this, they should have probably gone with some lesser-known faces. I have read the novel and I cannot really picturize these two guys playing the parts of call center guys!

oh. the plot of the movie has enough moments for songs…
they can do song sequences while remembering their past and they can sing the song while doing IT in the parking lot of 32nd milestone.

i have read the book & work in a call center myself so the same old heros will not fit. it should really look like cal center life not the same hindi movie.
Of course alteration in the script would be there importantly in the climax of the movie.

The book is amazing hope some high budget banner does not screw up the movie with top line star cast, and give it a super rich effect. Certainly not Abhishek.
As I read the book I, I visualised Shyam as Rahul Bose and Vroom as the guy who played friend of Rahul bose in ‘Shaadi ke side effects’ ( sorry cant recollect his name). They can probably do justice to the role. Bakshi - Boman Irani, hands down.
As for the girls new faces would be the best choice.
