i beleive that aamir and srk are two different kind of actors!
aamir makes each caracter so beleivable that u totaly forget aamir!
but srk he often plays the star he is more than the caracter!the role that i liked him the most is in shakti!yes it sounds strange but it’s one from the rare occassions that he was the caracter and not the star!

aamir or shahrukh? definately AAMIR wins the battle easily. shahrukh is more of a star than an actor. aamir has got both, stardom and gr8 acting skills. generations will remember him for his gr8 dedicated work in films as well as a person. shahrukh only impressed me in swades. aamir is not one of the best but probably THE BEST actor the industry has got. also, his films r meaningful n thought provoking and more practical than anyone else’s. aamir is simply uncomparable with shahrukh. aamir leads the industry just like amitabh and dileep kumar at their times. he would be remembered for centuries for his versatile characters and outclass performances in almost every film. on contrary, shahrukh is just a fad who would be forgotten very soon.

They are both great actors and yes you cannot really compare them but if I had to … without hesitation SRK comes on top. He is way more versatile. Remember Baazigar, Darr and Anjaam - he played the villain role with ease and at the same time made you love him. Another thing with SRK, his hits are endless. Including the movies above, there are too many to mention: DDLJ, DTPH, KKHH, Mohabbatein, Devdas etc. The guy is so good, I believe he could play a gay role convincingly if he had to! Now how many films can you list for Aamir? Please do not misunderstand me, Aamir is great and I admire his work but SRK is number one and will be for a very long time. There’s a reason why they see him as today’s Amitabh, he is a true legend…

If we r to compare Shahrukh and aamir,I would say that both of them r very good actors and their style of acting is completely different. I would prefer Aamir more than shahrukh as bcoz Aamir can do any kind of role which is given to him but Shahrukh always does the same kind of movies …the same romantic stories as ever except darr,anjaam and baazigar. But watch Aamir…he has so variation in his roles and everyone likes the character he portrays and he gives the class act. No doubt Shahrukh is the so called King Khan but Aamir should be the best. Aamir has got low popularity bcoz he does 1 film a year and that too hit and he also doesn’t like to come infront of media unlike other actors.
So Aamir is the best and see the number of hits Aamir has provided compared to the same romantic stories of Shahrukh.
I would want Shahrukh and Aamir to act together in a movie.

I solemnly promise, won’t use parameters like ‘hit’ or ‘flop’ or ‘number of awards’ to justify the famous war.It is widely accepted that an actor’s acid test comes from a measure of how versatile he/she is.
Dont see SRK doing different roles in last 3,4 years. Shahrukh comes with big package best director,best producer. He has very less to do. No doubt he is good actor. But versatile?,,,,NO way !!He is always shahrukh never “THE character”. All versatility he showed was during the times of Baazigar and Darr etc.
Aamir. Great things come in small packets. very true.
He goes to the skin of character. There was a time when he was chocolaty hero..but since then he has tried everything and has been successful(both acting and commercially).
However due to lesser-logical counterparts(girls) and children , shahrukh is more famous
summing up Shahrukh wud get 9 out 10 for fame
and 7 out of 10 for acting skills
Aamir 9 out of 10 for acting and
8 out of 10 for fame.(recently after his comeback his fame has been much more than ever before, ,,and its well deserved)

hey guys shahrukh is top and best from amongst all actors in india. He is arealy king becoz aamir is a little emotional and selfish and very typical type of person since 1990 to 2000 he is a very disobedient husband also and he is not god in personal life or in film life he choose only that type of charecters which improves his respect but SHAHRUKH IS Only one star real star he got fame and name with his good acting and his super natural acting in every movie which he was done from many years . Shahrukh Khan celebrates his 41st birthday today. We decided to do something special. We will tell you facts about Shahrukh that everyone might not know. Here is a sneak peak into Shahrukh’s life.
2nd November 1965. In New Delhi’s Talwar Nursing Home, to parents Mir Taj Muhammad and Lateef Fatima, was born a young boy. For the family, that lived in Rajinder Nagar, a middle class locality in the national capital, it was time to rejoice and celebrate the newly born.
When he was just four years of age, Shah Rukh happened to throw a rock at a neighborhood boy because of which the latter’s teeth broke. Late at night that day, the child’s father came to the house in an inebriated state while wielding a knife. Shah Rukh’s father coolly opened the door and when this man threatened to kill his son for what he had done, he crosschecked with Shah Rukh as to whether or not he had committed the act of mischief. When the child confessed, the dad asked him to go out and explain himself to the man who was not only drunk but also armed. Shah Rukh had to go outside and apologize for his deed.
Shah Rukh had won the Raman Subramanyam Award in Class X (1982-83) for character, all round performance in studies, sports and extra curricular activities and the Sword of Honour in Class XII (1984-85) for the Best all round performance, loyalty, obedience, integrity and sportsmanship.
The college where he studied was Delhi University’s Hans Raj College, and Shah Rukh did his Economics Honours from the institution between 1985-88. When Hans Raj celebrated its Golden Jubilee, the college gave away 17 shields to its alumni who had excelled in their lives and professions and Shah Rukh was one of them.
After graduating from Hans Raj, he went on to join Jamia Milia Islamia’s Mass Communications Research Centre to do his masters in filmmaking and journalism.
Shah Rukh had a solid theatre background and had worked with an institution like Barry John in New Delhi.
Shah Rukh was, in fact uncomfortably possessive about his lady love (Gauri), whom he lovingly calls Gaurima. So much so that he would pick up a quarrel with her even if she let her hair down…literally. Finally, Gauri lost her cool and without informing Shah Rukh, came down to Bombay. Shah Rukh followed her to the huge city and kept looking for her around the beaches because of his awareness that she was attracted to them in a big way. Later, a cab guy advised him to go to Aksa Beach and Gorai Beach. After searching frantically, he managed to track her down when she was standing in the water! Isn’t that filmi?
One of the reasons why Shah Rukh bought Mannat, his palatial bungalow, was since he wanted to have an exclusive prayer room. Shah Rukh says that if he were broke, he will sell everything except Mannat
Both the children, Aryan (13th November 1997) and Suhana (23rd May 2000) have been taught to revere the co-existence of Ganpati and Allah in the Khan household. How wonderfully they are being brought up manifests itself in the story that when Shah Rukh was having a critical neck surgery, Aryan went to the temple and said an Islamic prayer so that his father could get well soon.
Shahrukh Khan is a Muslim but celebrates Diwali and Christmas along with Eid every year. He keeps a Lakshmi Pooja every year in his office and at home. He even has a Christmas tree at home. From all the festivals Shahrukh’s kids love Christmas the most.
Shahrukh Khan has the holy Quran Bismillah kept along with the idols of Indian Gods at his place. His kids pray to both the God’s simultaneously.
Shahrukh Khan can be managed best only by his wife as she understands him the most. She is the only person who can command Shahrukh to do things. Infact Shahrukhs’s daughter Suhana imitates Gauri Khan very well by saying in a strict voice, “Shahrukh, eat your food.”
Shahrukh never asks anything for himself from God. It is always his family and his close people he asks for. Shahrukh Khan! The one word that comes to your mind when you say his name is sheer magnetism. He is energetic, he is charismatic and he can be defined in millions of fantastic adjectives. But words fall short when you speak of Shahrukh Khan. Today he is a star but here was a time when he was nothing more than a TV actor with dreams to be big in the film industry. He was best known for his roles in Circus and Fauji. This is till Deewana happened to him. But there was another filmmaker who showed keen interest in Shahrukh Khan. He saw in him the makings of a super star. And the film maker is Kundan Shah.
Kundan Shah is the same man who gave Shahrukh Khan Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. The movie, which won Shahrukh his first critic’s award as an actor. His performance as a confused loser was appreciated by one and all. Kundan Shah feels Shahrukh Khan was perfect for the role because of his flair for tragedy. He had to convince Shahrukh that if he wanted the film to shape out as Kundan had thought of it, then they both had to believe in the project. And Kundan says that Shahrukh did exactly the same. So much so that he went ahead and distributed the film in Bombay territory without even being a producer.
When questioned that how much Shahrukh was paid for the role of Sunil in the movie, Kundan replies that he was paid only Rs 25,000. 25,000??? Difficult to digest but those were the starting years of Shahrukh. Kundan himself was paid Rs 50,000. The producer of the film wanted to sign a contract with Shahrukh Khan. So Kundan was given Rs 5,000 as signing amount to give it to Shahrukh Khan and was asked to get the contract signed. Kundan went to Shahrukh who was at the Muhurat of Deewana then and gave him the signing amount and asked him to sign the contract. A modest Shahrukh asked what the need for this was. Shahrukh was in an empty corner of a room. There was no table around. That is when he bent on his knees and signed the contract for Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.
Talk about big stars modesty. Well Shahrukh, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is one of your many films, which you can feel very proud about.

2.Tapori roles-Shahrukh played in raam jaane and josh and aamir in Rangeela and Ghulam.Raam jaane was a big flop after a superhit like DDLJ and josh was just average whereas both Rangeela and Ghulam were superhits which made careers of ramgopal verma,urmila.vikram bhatt and rani mukherjee.Aamir’s character Munna of rangeela is still remembered and where is raam aane and max??

They are both very different actors, I enjoys both of their movies. They both balance each other out, for example SRK may be a stronger actor when it comes to doing romance movies, where Aamir is better at doing period films. I like them both, and I think they are great actors:)

Shahrukh Khan (Hindi: शाहरुख़ ख़ान, Urdu: شاه رخ خان), pronunciation: /ʃɑːhrux xɑːn/ (also known as SRK or King Khan, born November 2, 1965, New Delhi, India, is a popular Indian actor[1].
Shah Rukh Khan is from a Pathan family from New Delhi. Prior to the partition, his family lived in Peshawar. He did his schooling from St. Columba’s School there, has a Bachelors degree from Hansraj College, Delhi and then joined a Masters Degree in Mass Communications from Center for Mass Communication, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi. He is married to Gauri Khan who comes from a Punjabi family and her formerly surname was Chibber. They have two children his son, Aryan Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan started his career appearing on various television series, particularly when playing the role of ‘Abhimanyu’ in the war drama series Fauji (Soldier) in 1988, a minor role in Circus in 1989, which depicted the life of circus performers. The acting stint in Fauji caught the attention of Hema Malini who is said to have recommended his name for his film debut in Dil Aashna Hai which was to be directed by Malini.[citation needed]
However his debut film was the 1992 film Deewana along with the late Divya Bharti which was a big hit. The same year he appeared in films such as Chamatkar and the controversial art film Maya Memsaab. This film was very controversial because it had an “explicit for Bollywood” sex scene between Khan and actress Deepa Sahi.

It was when he met Juhi Chawla when filming Raju Bangaya Gentelman, who helped him in his career in Bollywood, with whom he later became close freinds. The film also brought him some attention from huge bollywood directors like Yash Chopra and Abbas-Mustan, with whom he was to make many hits.
In 1993 he attracted a great deal of attention when he was praised for his performances in two negative roles in Baazigar (as an anti-hero and murderer) and Darr (as an obsessed lover) which became huge hits at the box office and shot him to stardom. He missed out on the Fimfare best actor in a negative role for Darr, but made up by winning his first of six Filmfare best Actor award for his role in Baazigar, beating off strong competition from Sanjay Dutt for his role in Khalnayak.
The following year he had done the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, which he claims is his best performance in his career. He received the Filmfare critics’ best actor award.
1995 was a very successful year for Khan. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) broke box office records and Khan,(800 + week ) still playin @ Maratha mandir as the lead, was given a great deal of credit for its success. He had also starred in Rakesh Roshan’s Super hit flick Karan Arjun, along with Kajol, Salman Khan and Amrish Puri. He won his second Filmfare best Actor award for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. In 2004 another of his production houses, Red Chillies Entertainment, produced film Main Hoon Na which was his second hit under his own production house. Red Chillies Entertainment is owend by Khan and his wife Gauri. He also co-produced the horror film Kaal in 2005 with Karan Johar. This film was rather successful as the audience liked this movies, but film critics didn`t appreciate Kaal, because they called the storyline flat. He then produced Paheli, which was India’s selection for the Academy awards consideration.

SrK himself recently admitted that he had had far too many multi-starrers and almost every success he has had was in them movies in last few years. According to him even MHN was more like a 2-hero movie than an all out SrK-starrer. This is something we’ve all talked about for years (on these forums) .. actually this and the other fact that most of his hits have come either in a Yashraj production or else in a Johar one. Since 2000, he has had 5 films in total with them and all of them becoming huge hits with an average gross of 40 cr per film (48 cr adjusted). which leads us to beleive that he’s perhaps not as big a star as he’s touted to be by the media and his success have come primarily with cetain production houses, which are themselves very successful even apart from SrK…. … Even the ardent and most fanatic of fans sometimes question his status as a star and this was the year that he had to prove his worth since atleast 5 major stars are at the peak of their careers - Aamir, Hrithik, Akshay, Saif and Abhishek. These guys have never had it any better. SrK also mentioned in that same interview that he was gonna prove a point with Don and make a statement (I swear to God he said that) and that’s why he went all out - promoting his movie, getting the best possible release date, losing 6-8 pounds, etc etc.
Don was not Yashraj movie, it was not directed by Karan Johar, didn’t have the chacha’s and mother-in-laws, it wasn’t a romantic, there were no Raj or Rahul or the whathaveyou’s, no Bachchans or other Khans as sidekicks, no Kajol-Preity-Rani, … in fact it had everything to aid and advocate a thumping backlash, a possible disastous mayhem, .. if all went wrong it meant a salughter at the hands of media and the fans. Media sensed that and they went for it.. on day One. and the Saturday fall only intensified the battery and was like fan to the flames.
But the audience had other plans.. and Don made a an astonishing and solid initial of 25 cr. One thing was sure.. we didn’t see anymore of those misreporting articles.. and wannabe-critics and BO analysts on TV shows claiming that the movie had flopped. Instead we saw reports with a mention of “disapointing” .. “not-so-good” , “average success” phrases mentioned to address Don. Second week numbers meant there was no huge fall.. atleast the kind that most in the media had wanted it to have. Now, call it a technical hit, an average success, limping to safety.. or whatever.. One thing that it is not is a “flop” or a “failure”..as far as trade is concerned. In fact it will most likely end up among the top grossers of the year and will add to Hit column of SrK’s BO chart, sooner or later.And this is not the first time it happened. Everytime another star delivers a huge hit in a year, SrK hits that same year get this kind of treatment. It happened with Mohabattein, happened with K3G, happened with Devdas, and now Don. And the treatment is worse when it’s a big srk movie in a non-yashraj/johar movie.
As an actor.. SrK was appreciated all over.. Even the worst of reviews had only good things to say about his performance as Don (NGers not included ofcourse).
And movies like these will definitely help SrK big time.. They are action movies.. which means they have it easier in the North (check out the Delhi-UP collections - Rock Solid).. compared to somewhere like Gujarat which have traditionally lapped family movies more. Also a slick and Hollywoodesque movie like Don.. adds up to SrK’s fanbase too. I don’t think Don is raking all that moolah due families and married woman watching the movie over and over again. As we have all come to know from various reports.. that it’s mainly the teenage crowd and the young college guys who have liked the movie most. Just like KMG added a huge huge section of fans to Hrithik (the kids) … Don has also added quite a significant crowd to SrK’s fanbase. (maybe not in as big a way as the former). This was very necessary.. coz in recent years .. all SrK has been doing.. is movies that cater to an older crowd and the way the multiplexes are booming and the way the cinema audience has become more and more reflective of the younger generation, you have to stay “hip” if you wanna keep superstardom. And Don is easily among the hippest movie I can think of in years. And SrK in it was as cool as you can get, is what we’ve been reading and hearing.
And finally.. my take on the star of the year.What defines a star?? One ((((who pulls in crowds)))) . one who creates a buzz. One who is reponsible for the initial. That’s why every big film has them.. and that’s why they are paid in crores and crores. They’re not the best of actors.. and most often they just don’t suit the roles they are playing and scripts are twisted to accomodate them. That’s why in RDB, DJ was made to be a a staudent who had spent 5 years in colllege even after graduating.
Specially the way movies are making money these days.. the star is perhaps the most important element in your film…. when the initials of the film decide the fate of them too. Most movies gross almost 50% of the total gross in first week. Even the hits and the superhits have the maximum share by far in their first week.
With Don and KANK, SrK has proved that he’s the biggest star in Bollywood. A 28 cr opening and 46 cr total gross for a REJECTED film like KANK is testament to SrK BO muslce. And a 25 cr opening for an action thriller for which the ending was announced on the 2nd day after release on National television, pitted against an equally big movie.. and the whole Tv, radio and the print media pleading to people not to watch it…. proves only one thing.. that SRK is still the Baadshah of Bollywood. And he’s not gonna be toppled anytime soon. His movies may not have kpet them in the theatres for 6-8 weeks.. but he did bring to the theatres in the first place… and hebrought loads and loads of them.
Nothing against Aamir.. but if you neither have the biggest initials.. nor the biggest grossers.. And both your movies were dominated by other actors.. I don’t see any reason why you can be considered the biggest star. Yes he has had 2 hits.. but I don’t see that huge a difference between a 47 cr grosser and a 51 cr grosser. I do see a huge huge difference between a 16 cr initial and a 28 cr one.
And you tell me which film wudda had a bigger initial.. Yashraj’s Fanaa with Srk in it or Farhan’s Don with Aamir? Or tell me how much wud KANK gross with Aamir in it? And the only difference I’d see with SrK in RDB, is a much much bigger initial.
Shift aside Aamir, even Hrithik’s ahead of you.

aamir or shahrukh? definately a close competition BUT AAMIR wins the
battle.shahrukh is more of a star than an actor.
aamir has got both, stardom and gr8 acting skills.

At a power packed press conference held in suburban Mumbai King Khan kept the media in splits for over an hour while answering to the endless questions by the journo brigade. Well, we think life has now come full circle for Shah Rukh who’s an entertainer to the core. To put it in his own words, “I believe I am a entertainer and my job is to make sure that people get entertained. So, here the medium doesn’t matter, it could be the small screen or the big screen for that matter. Afterall, I started my career on television and went on to do films and now I am back on the small screen.”
So how differently does the actor plan to anchor the show considering Big B made KBC a household name with his style?
“I’ll be myself on the show and I see this as an opportunity to connect with viewers who have loved me so much. First and foremost, I think it will be very important for the contestants to feel comfortable on the show. Also, it’s really not about winning for them but being on the show taking back memories is what counts. So, it could be a hug, a statement, or just the informal chat that we have on the show will probably be a memory. I am nervous, exited and thrilled to anchor a show which is very classy, intelligent and entertaining.” chirps the energetic actor.
The show is being slotted in the every Monday to Thursday at 9 pm. Elaborating further on the positioning of the show, Sameer Nair, CEO , Star Entertainment India says, ” our weekend slots are already looking very strong with shows like Prithviraj Chauhan, Baa Bahu aur Baby and others. Right now, we need to look the 9 pm slot. As for now, Viraasat and Karam Apnaa Apnaa will go off air to make way for KBC. ”
When queried further on the choice of the new anchor, Nair said,” after the Big B if there’s anyone else who could do the show, it is Shah Rukh Khan. His wit charm, energy, style will definitely make the show worth watching.”
KBC is being produced by Siddhartha Basu’s Synergy Communications.
“We get to see a rejuvenated KBC this time but with the same magic. This time one would get to see the first production which will be a joint venture with Ad labs,” smiles ace quizmaster Siddharth Basu who is basking in the glory of his Sony dance show Jhalak Dikhla Ja.

Tell us about the cold war between you and the Big B?

We are both professionals who’ve been working together for a long time now. I have learnt a lot from him and have tremendous respect for him. Its like Tom Cruise never tries to attack Brad Pitt and I’ve been having all colours of wars with my colleagues for so many years now.
Are you doing any homework for the show?
The channel people and the production house has been very kind to me. They have set up a training set up for me at home so that I can get myself acquainted with the show and don’t have to travel all the way to the studio every day. So I would be joining school from today to not having any glitches.
Are you going to have the trademark o-oh which the Big B was famous for during the show?
We would be retaining the o-oh and maybe try Kkkk… On a serious note we work on the creative soon. And use good amount of Urdu as I have already done a few Hindi films and people know how good my Hindi is.
People call you a juggler as you have been trying different genres?
I think juggler is a good word though I prefer being called a Badshah. I’ve been a jack of all trades but master of none and have been juggling with many things in the scope of entertainment.
How long is your contract with the show and wont you get bored of hosting the show?
I’ve have a two years contract with KBC wherein I get to expose my personality. I am finishing work on a film called Chak De. But from January I get to work on KBC and Om Shanti till April. I enjoy my work so I never get tired of what I am doing.
What is your look going to be like?
I am going to wear clothes from Dhoom 2.

they are both excellent actors but shah rukh khan is the best. he takes risks and he does more movies tha aamir. aamir does movies but doesnt get apprectiated that much but the movies do good at the box office. whereas shah rukh khan he does movie alot of them whic do really good at the box office or flop but he is always on the top. Debate will go on. Who is more popular is immaterial for me…I only know that Shahrukh’s antics on screen irritate me and most of the people in different age groups whereas Aamir comes across as the only more matured and seasoned actor in leading stars. Period.
Foolish figures and numbers/opening figures are totally misleading and out of context. Sholey was a far less grosser than Amitabh’s Sarkar.

Who’s better? Who’s the best? After two decades of Box Office dominance by superstar, superhero, superhuman performances by Amitabh Bachchan, it is finally time to call for a reality check by aficionados of Indian cinema.
Bollywood, over the years, has opted to project the concept of one superstar lording over a constellation of lesser stars. Amitabh Bachchan was one such man, who justified his top rung position with superlative performances movie after movie.

My question to u Mr. Shankar. U said srks one award is equal to Amitabh Bachchan’s 13 Filmfare Awards. I honestly feel that u need psycho check up. Amitabh is god of acting and this so called media/self proclaimed badshah khan is nothing in front of him. Just imaging a man of 64 has pulled the movie black entirely by his acting and won all the awards that year as well as National Award for that. Can ur badhshah khan do that. As on date he has not won a single National Award. How dare u to say that. Just don’t be a blind fan of srk. All the filmfare awards are fake they are purchased for srk. That man just did not have any credibility as an actor. He is the most luckiest star of all time to be in this position and not by his acting. Just tell me one thing if ur badshah khan is real box office king then why his film don was just a hit and not a blockbuster? Another thing at which I am really very surprised is that u people say that after Amitabh Srk ruled the bollywood. How can u say that. From the 90s to till date there are many other actors are there and there are many non srk blockbuster movies are there then how can u say that srk ruled. It is the sheer publicity of people like u otherwise that man is good for nothing.
