Ironies of the world!
We elect our representatives to the parliaments and they do stuff we do not want them to do! Two of the best examples of this crap happening are visible in news nowadays.
One of them is of course the reservation quota crap, which would make it mandatory for even the private companies to hire people based on their religion or cast or whatever! So, we are practically making a mockery of our democracy by forcing people to do what the government wants them to do! Stupid Stupid Stupid…
And then there is this issue of the Net Neutrality bill, which got defeated in the United States. So, we might now have ISPs deciding what site can be visited at what speeds from our computers. They can charge companies like Google and Yahoo! to pay them to enable faster speeds on their services for the web users! Or perhaps they would charge web users money if they want to download movies from the paid legal services at speeds they deserve to get…
Both these issues are in the hands of representatives of the common man. And common man gets to suffer due to what might happen if the worst possible scenario arrives. Maybe, we should totally boycott the candidates involved in these two scams the next time they come to use asking for votes.
We are after all living in a democratic society for god sake… Now, I know why I have never voted in my life. And why I won’t be voting for anyone ever. Maybe, the government would make it illegal too not to cast my vote. Reminds me of the post where I said that the government should give me an option on the voting machine to not give my vote to any of the representatives in the fray…

It is a unique feature of our Indian constitution that it has provided the legal right to the voter to reject all the candidates. Section 49 ‘O’ of the Election rules 1961, has empowered the voter with this right.

Today I saw a funny thing. A Bellary (Kar) politician spoke 5 minutes on ETV about the conspiracy behind the transfer of an engineer from his constituency.
Now we know what their priorities are.
